I have a very basic question. Porting the songs + libraries is not that DIFFICULT. It really does not have to involve not-so-obvious geeky stuff like editing text files, backing up stuff etc. Is there anyone else who agrees with me on this?
I would like to have the entire MediaMonkey exe hosted in a USB drive (say abt 120GB) with all the songs+library+ini or whatever in it. We could have relative paths for storing music files (I know there are problems with these) so that I dont have to worry about what drive letters the disk maps to. The songs are not on a network drive. They are locally on an external hard drive just that I plug in/out that drive across my PCs.
There is some version available in http://portableapps.com/node/11136 and http://www.portablefreeware.com/forums/ ... php?t=1958 but I dont want hacks. I really really think most problems have cleaner solutions (which may take slightly more time to develop) which should be preferred to keeping hacky solutions for 2-3 years

No one else is with me on this?
PS: No links to be posted on how to do this using geeky settings. It is not that I am not 'intelligent' enough to follow/do them. Just that I think it should not be done that way
